Mood Boards
I have created a few mood boards to help inspire me for my bag. The theme i have chosen is Fashion War.

I created this mood board so i could get inspiration for my bag design idea. These images will help me choose how to design it. I have chosen these images because they are war related and that it what topic i have chosen to look at. One of the images i have chosen is an art piece that Banksy has designed, i think that his work is very eye catching and emotive. I think the images i have used in my mood board remind me of Steven Meisel. This mood board is communicating peace not war.

This is my second mood board that i have created, the images are taken from a photo shoot that Steven Meisel has done. These images will help inspire me for my bag ideas. These images will also help me because it is war mixed with fashion. The theme for this shoot is war and military but it is still fashion related. These photo's were in well known magazines such as vogue and some of them were on the front cover.

David Lachapelle
David Lachelle is a famous photographer. He is a very controversial photograph he has used this in this shoot. He has got a group of rapers/gangsters. The leader in the middle of the group is representing Jesus. The rest of the group around him are being seen as jesus's decibels. This is a modern remake of the famous last super photograph. The message he is getting across is religion can be modern.

Strong 4 Life
This image is showing an over weight child wanting to be a little girl. Its trying to get across to parents, to not let their little boy or girl get over weight because they wont have a childhood like they want the too. The message they are trying to get across is to stop child obesity.

Task One- Analysis Research

NHS
The NHS have used this off putting image to scare people. They have used a shock tactic to show people what smoking cigarets can do you your teeth and gums. They have used text in there image saying ' Warning, Cigarets cause mouth diseases.' This would hopefully encouraging people to stop smoking because the image is of someone who has been smoking for a long term.

Anorexia
This image is a shock tactic against anorexia. They have took a photo of a anorexia model and then drew the model on paper, which looks like a stick person. They are tying to say been anorexic isn't okay because 'you are not a sketch' They have used that saying to make people think about how skinny they are and do they really want to look like that?

Task One- Analysis Research

Speed Awareness
This image is a shock tactic. They have used a photo and put it on a front window of a car to show people what it would look like if they drive fast. This image should make drives more aware of their speed to prevent this from happening. The image shows how much damage can be done to a young person. The message they are trying to get across is that watch out for children and slow down when driving.

War
This is one of Banksy's art work on a street wall. He has painted a man in a army uniform and a little girl wearing pink. Banksy has used role reverse because the man is seen to be as strong, masculine and in power and the little girl dressed in pink to be seen as girlie, they are both dressed typical but he has changed the roles. He is been stereo-tpye. The little gilr is searching the solider when it should be the other way round. The message he is getting across is that a women can do a mans job.

Task One Analysis Research

Banksy
The techniques that Banksy has used for this piece of art work is a shock tactic. He grabs the audiences attention by the colours he has used because they are the colours of love. The solider is been shown as a negative figure by the colour he is in but he is a positive person. The the solider has people around him which could be his enemies by what they have on. They are wearing balaclavas like they are hiding but they are wearing bright colours which represent love. i think that the message that Banksy is trying to get across is that there is no difference.

                                                                        Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is using shock tactic by sitting on a wrecking ball naked to grab her audiences attention. Miley Cyrus use to play a role of a sweet typical american girl in Hannah Montana but know she is showing who she actually is. She is now known for doing a lot of shock tactics in the public eye. She shaved her hair and her fashion style to more grunge than girlie. She is coming across as provocative to the public.

Andy Warhol
This is a piece of Andy Warhol art work, Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. He was a artist from 1960's. He grabs the audiences attention because it was a normal photo but then he turns it in to more pop art.

GEGEN-PELZ
Gegen-Pelz is a campaign ad against fox fur on scarves. The image used is a shock tactic because the fox has got a human body wrapped round is neck like a scarf. Normally it is a human with fox fur around them. The message that the campaign is to stop killing animals for fur on your clothing.

Peta
This is a campaign against animal fur. They have used Khloe Kardashian to help promote there ad because she is known world wide. There ad is a shock tactic because Khloe Kardashian i naked in the campaign because it is all about 'FUR? I'd rather go naked'. This is what Peta is trying to tell us because is that they'd rather go naked than wear fur. They used Khloe Kardashian in there campaign because she is a good role model.

Alexandra Mcqueen-Model
Alexandra McQueen has used a shock tactic in this advert because he has used a disabled model to wear his garments. This would grab the attention of people because the model has prospective limbs. The message he is trying to get across is that models can be different. He is pushing the boundaries of what a typical model should look like.

NHS

The NHS have used this picture in there ad campaign because it is off putting to the audience. They would want to read what was wrong because they don't want it to happen to them. So the audience would stop smoking so the message would get through to them. The message in this ad is to stop smoking because is can kill you.

NHS
The NHS have used this gruesome advert as a shock tactic because they want you to stop drinking sugary drinks. This is picture would put the reader off drinking sugary drinks because they have put fat pouring out the bottle because thats what would be what inside your body if you carried on drinking. The message  they are trying to get across is too stop drinking sugary drinking, it'll make you fat and could die of high cholesterol.

Love-Magazine(Beth Ditto)
Love magazine have used Beth Ditto to be on the cover of there magazine. She is best known for being a signer songwriter. I think the cover of this magazine is a shock tactic because she is naked and you wouldn't normally see a bigger model on the cover. The message they are trying to get across is that anyone can be a model too.

Vivienne Westwood
Vivienne Westwood has done a campaign in Kenya. She flew to kenya and employed women who lived there and had no job so she employed them. The message she is trying to get across is to let buyers know were there products are being made.

United Colours of Benetton
This picture is a shock tactic because they have used a muslim and the pope kissing in the advert. They are both religious figures so it is surprising to the eye which grabs the attention of the public. The message they are trying to get across is gay rights for men.

Watch Around Water
This Campaign is showing a young boy who has drowned in the water and no one knows. This is a shock tactic as the young boy is dead at the bottom of the pool. The message that it is sending out is watch your children around the pool.

PETA
Here is another campaign Peta have done against fur. I think this image and the campaign is very shocking but also disturbing because they have real skinned fox's what they are hold and also they have a board which says 'Here's the rest of your fur coat.' I think this picture and the campaign is trying to put people off wearing fur by using these gruesome techniques.

NHS
Here is another campaign by the NHS but its about 2nd hand smoking. The advertisement is quite shocking as it is a little girl smoking a cigar. The message the campaign is trying to get across is showing us what second hand smoking is actually doing to people around us.
